Hello,...-and Goodbye....

Hi there dear Inkido friends, it's Bente here!

It's with a heavy heart I write this post because it will be my last one here on the Inkido blog and as part of the Inkido DT. I have new adventures on the horizon, but that does not mean I'm not sad to see Inkido close down. Inkido/Papercraft Scandinavia has been part of the Scandinavian scene for around eight years and will surely be missed!

I have made a card that says Hello, when it should really say Goodbye, but hopefully there will be many more chances for all of us to meet in many other places in the vast cyberspace.

 And here are a coupole of close ups of my card:

I used the latest and last collection Spring Time for this page and combined with some older papers.

Bookmarks and Cards

Hi all Irena here, hope you are weekend is great. 

Today I would like to show you some cards and bookmark. 

The first card is of  surprise.

It has a small envelope, where you can add a gift tag.

And Bookmarks make great gifts,  certainly make the book more special and personal.

And my last card. Made for a young lady. Receive it with this small book - with great quotes for every day.

SWEET layout with a mix of collections

Hello

It's time  for me to share with  you  my new layout with a mix of different Inkido Collections.
For this layout , i was inspired by my photo and the colors   on this one. I've coose to work with brown and pink paint on my page to create my background. I use my paint with a lot of water so thzt the result like  sweet. I've  again applied gesso on my page.
I really love the papercraftscandinavia papers because in general they are sweet as i like and i enjoy to use them ! I hope you enjoy also my page  !

Welcome to Inkidos blog and our challenge this month. 

This is our moodboard.

This is my contribution. I became inspired by the text and the old book-theme, and desided to make something totally different. I usually make romantic vintage cards, but now I felt for doing something a bit out of my comfortsone ;-)

For this card I've used different papers from "The Beautiful Memories Collection" and "Spring Time". I also used some roses and leafs.

Somewhere beyond the sea...

MEMORIES

Hi everyone !

It's already time for me to share my take for our new monthly challenge !! This month, our new moodboard  show us  pastels colors and i like it ! I 've inspired by these blue and yellow/cream in my layout. I've founf such colors in our new Spring Imr collection. I've also taken some papers from the latest collection , Beautiful Memories !

This time, i would some change in my style.Why  ? I don't know  !It comes somethimes that we need some change, and this time is coming !!! This layout is  more made in a clean and simple style.

You can  see that the sand color is here with this sheet from the Beautiful Memories collection :

I like  a lot this sheet, there is different tones of brown and cream. And the aqua/blue  is represent by the Sweet Angels from the Spring Time collection.  This is a great color !
For the backgroung sheet, i've used   the Springtime Children sheet  :

And i say you how i've obtained this result :  Across the page, I applied gesso, I spread with a credit card, and in some places, I left more designs appear below, so as to create irregular designs on the paper. We see a little dots, the designs are melted, and the result is very soft as I wanted.
