Challenge Inspiration from Nataliya

Hello, Nataliya is here :)
Today I will show you door hanger for baby's bedroom, what I made for our gemstones challenge.

I chose my favorite green stones - emeralds. I added a few of them on my work :)

As always, I used my favorite butterflies:) Chipbord frame I painted with acrilic paint.

'3 is Definitely Company' using Beautiful Memories collections.

Todays page was created with the two lovely 'Beautiful Memories' collections.
I scrapped a photo of my three darling daughters who of course mean the world to me. It was taken on the day the eldest would leave for a year in the US and we had breakfast in the countryside.

I still love the look of fussy-cut butterflies. Many of the Inkido scrapbookingpapers have patterns that lend themselves well for cutting outdifferent elements.

I used different punches and also paint and mist here. The leaves were really a beige colour but I gave them a lick of acrylic paint to go with my blue green theme.

Anyone say banners,...? Yup, I still love them! :-) For me they will never be out of fashion I think....

'Tween' and a look at the NEW Inkido collection!!

Hi, it's me Bente here to share my 2nd lo for January.
I had this photo laying on my scraptable for a long time waiting to scrap it.I think it is pretty cute. The hands belong to my youngest DD and she was twelve when I took it. When I look at the photo it truly takes me back to what I felt like when I was a young girl, almost a teenager.
It is important to preserve the everyday memories and I wanted to document this.

It was easy to mix quite a few different papers as Inkido has such a comprehensive collection.
Most of the collections mix very well. Makes it easy to create pages that turn out differently just by adding another pattern from our stash.

As always I adore using some fussy cut butterflies on my page.

The beautiful lace you see here is also sold by Inkido. And they have other pretty styles as well.

Two Romantic Cards by Romy

'She's got the Look' for Inkido January challenge.

Hi there!

Nice to see you here at the Inkido blog again. I am delighted to tell those of you who have not already heard, that I am back for a new term and get to work with all the new awesome girls on the team as well as some of my old DT friends. Happy tidings!!

Kul att se er igen såhär på det nya året! Jag är lycklig att få berätta att jag blir kvar här ett tag till och får jobba med de nya härliga tjejerna och även några av mina 'gamla' DT kollegor. Jag lovar er det kommer att bli ett grymt 2014!!

This page was made with inspiration from the mood board for the Inkido January challenge HERE. Go check it out. I was inspired by the light Scandinavian colours and the flowers among other things. What will inspire you?....

Denna sidan gjordes med inspiration av Januari's utmaning her på Inkido bloggen. Du hittar den HÄR. Jag inspirerades av de ljusa färgerna och blommorna.

I have made so many cards and pages with the beautiful Winter collection from Papercraft Scandinavia; Happy Christmas, that when I was sent some different papers for my kit this time I used some immediately.
This page was made mainly with 'Beautiful Memories'.
(I will add the names of the papes at the end :-) )

Jag har gjort så många jul/vinter ispirerade projekt med den senaste urläckra julkollektionen, men nu när det fanns en del andra papper i mitt DT kit kliade det i fingrarna att göra en annan typ av sida.
Til denna sidan har jag mest använt 'Bautiful Memories'.
(Namn på papperna jag har använt kommer på slutet av inlägget :-) )

Inkido have some lovely mini roses and other flowers as well as these pretty pink jewels that I like to add here and there on my pages. They come in a multitude of colours.

Inkido har som ni säkert vet en hel del fina blommor, både minirosor och andra. De har dessutom några jättefina blingstenar som finns i ett flertal färger. Här har jag använt de rosa att strö lite här och var på sidan.

As always a lot of layering and stitching on my page . That pretty white lace was also in my DT kit from Inkido.

Som vanligt har jag använt mig av många lager på lager här och dessutom har jag lite svårt att scrappa en sida utan att använda min symaskin en hel del,....

I adore the whimsy look added by the butterflies strewn all over my page. They are cut from various of the patterned papers and there are many different ones.

Jag gillar det lite busiga uttrycket av fjärilarna som flyger lite här och där på min sida.Jag har klippt dom från olika Inkido papper och det finns så många olika fina fjärilar att använda.

A closer look at the stitching that I painted over with gesso.

Sedan en liten närbild på maskinsöm som fått ett lager gesso på toppen.

That was my share for today! I hope you enjoyed it and take some inspiration from it. At least let me tell you I had a lot of fun putting it together!

Det var allt för denna gången. Hoppas ni känner er åtminstone lite inspirerade. Jag kan säga som så att jag iallafall hade jättekul under processen :-)

Hi, Bente here to share another page with you.

I actually made this for a C'est Magnifique sketch challenge but there was never the right opportunity to post it.....

As always I have some closies for you as well. Most of these gorgeous blooms and pins are by Inkido. And the sweet little butterflies are fussycut from an Inkido patterned paper as well.

I have used the gorgeous collection 'Beautiful Memories' here. And for the round doily shape I used my Cameo.

I lifted my journallingspot slightly from the page.

I think it adds some dimension to it. I added some washitape as well for decoration.

I hope you enjoyed my page and go away with a little portion of inspiration.

Inkido guest appearance at Scrap Around the World.

The DT of Inkido was graciously invited to interpret the recent mood board at

Scrap Around the World.

This is my interpretation of this fun challenge:

Isn't it just gorgeous?!!

Here are a few close ups of my page. I started out taking inspiration from the stripes (background sheet), the words 'flying' out from the head (my butterflies), the large title (also a quote) and the black and white photo of a person.

I also did a loose interpretation of the available sketch, picking just a few of the elements.

I fussy cut a lot of tiny flowers from one of the sheets in the 'Beautiful Memories' collection.

I believe they are poppies.

I picked Inkido's small butterfly stamp and combined with some other butterflies that I cut out. They were all embellished with some bling and pearl stones. Inkido do these in several colours and they are so great to add to all kinds of projects.

I find the internet is such a great source when you are searching for various inspiration, and for this challenge I decided I needed a good quote. This was just one of several quotes that I found.

After cutting out the words with my Silhouette Cameo I backed them with pink paper, except for the words black and white that I wanted to stand out against the background.

As you can see from this close up I also added some freestyle sewing with my machine. I find it adds a lot of interest without being intrusive or taking anything away from the design.

Hi! Today we have a Guest from Russia, welcome Evgenia!

Hello everyone. I'm Evgenia from Moscow, Russia. I'm 28. I'm a wife of a wonderful husband who always supports and helps me in my hobby and a mother of a sweet girl who is now 3 years old. Last 3 years our family has been living in Vietnam and now we returned to Russia. I started scrapbooking after giving birth to my daughter and enjoy it every day more and more. I like to do cards, mini -albums and altered scrap in shabby chic style. I often use flowers, buttons and lace in my projects. I love to create beautiful things for my friends. I'm so happy and proud to be GD of Inkido team.
