My work published in Inzpira and a farewell!

Today is my last post as a Designer for Inkido. I have really loved working with all amazing products but some times you have to let go to continue your creative journey.
As my very last work I have two published creations to show you. I´m very proud to be on the team for a magazine called Inzpira. You can read Inzpira on all kind of tablet computers as iPad.

Here I used a pastel color scheme with papers from Inkido.

.I mixed the large green flowers from Inkido with the very cute smaller Roses.

Stitching!

Layers of lace from Inkido

My next project is a card. It´s actually really easy with only layers of papers and doilies.

To make it more luxury I always use my sewing machine.
I have also used 3d pads.

For embellishment I fussy cutted some cute Butterflies ans added some white pearls on them.

Okay all of you Inkido fans! This is it! I want to give my warmest thanks to the owners of Inkido and the amazing Designteam! I love you all and will miss you a lot!

Lot of hugs from Ulrika aka LillBlomman!

Published Layout!

I was asked to draw a layout sketch for the Swedish magazine Inzpira for some time ago. The readers get to create after it also and some of them gets published in the magazine. This is the page I created after my own sketch. It was also published. I have used papers, lace, rhinestones, pins and some flowers from Inkido.

The theme for this issue was fairytales or "sagor" in Swedish. My page is about Viggo reading a book outside on the porch. I love reading and try my best to establish that interest with Viggo.

I I draped some sewing thread over my flower clusters.

The big brown flower was original beige but I misted it brown.

Look how beatiful the Cherryblossom, Rose and the large Rhinestone are together!

A published Music Box

Today it´s my turn again to post the lastes work with Inkido products. I like to give different things a make over and according to me make them more beutiful. When I found the music box it felt very plasticky and impersonal. But with a little bit of love, products from Inkido and a lot of carefully work it got much nicer! You can find this music box on the cover and inside the latest issue of Inzpira magazine. Of course I needed to brag a bit ;)

Förutom det fina rosa pappret med stjärnor använde jag en rosa bling sten på knoppen.

Besides the pretty pink paper I also used a pink rhinestone on the knob.

Ett tips när man altrar boxas och lådor är att alltid måla alla kanter så du får en snygg finish.

A useful tips is that always paint all edges on boxes when you´re gonna alter them.

Inuti lådan fick sammeten sitta kvar för den passade fint till det rosa pappret. Men Ballerinan och spegeln behövde hottas upp lite.

Inside the box I let the pink velvet stay but the mirror and the ballerina needed som love.
