Guest spot CSI case 93

During October we in the Inkido team are teaming up with the girls at CSI! This page is created after case number 93. It was a fun but a bit tricky color combination. I have really let myself loose and played with color and pattern. I also used Em´s sketch for my page.

The photo fitted the colors quite nice. Behind the photo you can find blue Hortensia, Peach Gardenias, Yellow Roses, Yellow Rosebuds, Rhinestones and some Tiffany Jewels. All from Inkido.

Lovely lady - a photo frame by DT Zanka

Hey to all Inkido fans!
It's a Thursday with DT Zanka and I'm sharing my first project made with Beautiful Memories 2 collection, yay!

I've picked the elegant sage papers from this line for this photo frame, dominated by sage and white.

The frame comes from a well known furniture store and is of the sort, that allows to frame a bulky page-there is a generous space between the front glass and the back side ( I removed the glass to take the photo)
The frame is 20x20 cm, which I really like, since it allows to use both sides of one paper in the same project;) They are beautifully coordinated so combining the patterns is a guaranteed success :) I added some die cuts using another paper from the same line. This time I picked the plain parts and played with shapes instead of pattern.

Såpbubblor with tutorial!

Den här månaden gästar Inkidos designteam en inspirations blogg som heter Berry71Bleu. Dagens layout har jag skapat dit. Jag bjuder också på en liten tutorial om hur du använder White wash tekniken.

The Inkido Design team are guesting Berry71Bleu this month. My page for today is made for that post. I also have a little tutorial about White wash for you today.

Du behöver Gesso, pensel/fingrar och våtservetter. Våtservetterna får inte vara för blöta.

You need Gesso, brush/fingers and baby wipes. Make sure that the baby wipes are not too wet.

Apply Gesso on your page or project.

Wipe the Gesso off to desired effect.

And when we already at it lets give the flowers some white highlighs too.

I applied some Gesso on my photos to make them lighter.

I really like this color combo!

I used green mist for the green lace.

At the corners I stamped in green with two different stamps.

'The Week End'

Hi it's me, Bente again to share a lo with you this beautiful Sunday morning.

I love my Inkido papers and am always looking forward to using them on my layouts together with plenty of flowers.

Todays layout is no exception. I have used flowers, gesso,. mists, gems, and paints on this one to create this soft feminine, rather shabby look that I like. I have distressed all my papers  and stitched them to the page using my sewing machine.

I used the latest sketch from Once Upon a Sketch as a base for my page.

I used a heart shaped doily as a base for my title. Those bling stones by Inkido add such a lovely shine and they do them in all kinds of colours. The cute butterfly was cut from one of the papers.
