How to Make A Vintage Page

Hello! This is Anupama with a step-by-step tutorial on how to build a page with a vintage photo.
This picture from the 1960s has my mother on the extreme left with her family (my aunts and grandparents).
The thin gentleman next to her is the Principal of the school they studied in.

Step 1 - I put strips of tissue tape in the area under my photograph and some canvas tape on the left.

Step 2 - I used texture paste with a stencil to make a pretty design.

Step 3 - I misted over some areas using two different colors (dark brown & gold).

Step 4 - I used a scrap of Cartas Satin Green paper to mat my photo and attached them with foam tape for dimension.

Step 5 - I built clusters of beautiful Inkido flowers using tacky glue.

Step 6 - I stamped on the layout using my favorite
 branch stamp in several places.

Step 7 - Next came the delicate lace and the title on top of the page.

Step 8 - Add some bling to embellish the page.

Step 9 - Some more text stamps in different fonts to add interest.

Step 10 - I tucked some leaf pins and brushed purple glitter paint here & there.

Step 11 - I cut a metal embellishment in half and added it to bottom of the page to balance the composition.

The Inkido supplies I have used are -

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial...
Happy scrapping with Inkido!
