Welcome to Inkidos blog and our challenge this month. 

This is our moodboard.

This is my contribution. I became inspired by the text and the old book-theme, and desided to make something totally different. I usually make romantic vintage cards, but now I felt for doing something a bit out of my comfortsone ;-)

For this card I've used different papers from "The Beautiful Memories Collection" and "Spring Time". I also used some roses and leafs.

Easter Greetings!

Hi Inkidofans!

Today it's my turn to show you my interpretation of aprils moodboard. This month is all about roots and traditions, so I have chosen to do a box and a card to wish someone a Happy Easter. 

Easter means a lot to me and my family. Traditions are very important. My mom always sent me a card and lot's of candy. Especially marzipan and chocolate :-D

Our holidays are spent skiing, and we make a fire to prepare food outside before we go home. We really enjoy to spend our days outside! On good friday it's a tradition to cook a steak of lamb to remember Jesus and his sacrifice for all of us. And, of course we paint eggs to decorate branches. It gives me the ultimate Easter feeling ;-)

A giftbag

Cathrine here to show you my latest Inkido project for the March callenge. I decided to make a giftbag, and got inspired by the vibrant colors in the mood board, and used green and coral/pink.

Butterfly dreams by GD Irit!

Hi!
Today we would like to show you a project from our GD Irit.

My name is Irit and I am from sunny Israel. In my real life I am a working dentist, mother of four grown- ups and a grandma of one adorable baby boy. But on my spare time I am a craft addict and the empty nest helps it a lot. I am a very versatile crafter: I scrap, make cards, love to make an altered art, stamp, make Mixed Media art and everything in between. For the last 3 years I designed for a lot of industry companies, such as Cherry Lynn, Epiphany Crafts, Best Creations and much more. Right now I design for Inspired by Stamping, 100 Proof Press, WOW! Embossing Powders, Tando Creative, A2Z Scraplets and FabScraps and it's all over 4 different continents. I also am a staff member for Scrapbooking. Com WEB magazine and my work was published in USA and UK few print magazines. Lately I was invited to be a guest designer for a few more companies for the rest of the year. I am thrilled to be Inkido guest designer and so much hope you all like my work.

When I first saw those Inkido papers from Beautiful Memories collection, I knew I just have right photos to scrap with those papers. This is our Israel Summer (also our Spring and Fall and maybe even Winter and I am not kidding, as we have one long  never ended season here with some rain in between). I used a lot of fancy hand cutting on this page, some border punching, edge inking and some misting to make this page. Inkido flowers were rolled over the chipboard frame and I added a bit of glitter all over the page.

This lo was a try to make baby/boy pages with fancy Inkido papers. As I picked this round title to be on this page, all page was built with circles (hand cut, die cut and epoxy covered ones). I made the siluettes from Inkido Baby cards and then made just the same with my grandson's photo and they look so much alike. I made some misting and paint drops, used border punches and made some hand stitching to connect some of the circles.

Happy Memories with Beautiful Memories II

Idag firar jag Nationaldagen med ett riktigt blommande kort! Det är verkligen en härlig tid vi har framför oss nu med alla grönska och alla blommor. Mitt kort är fotat i min trädgård bland mina blommande Hortensior!

Today I celebrate the Swedish National Day with a blooming card! In Sweden we have a wonderful time ahead of us with greenery and lot´s of flowers. I took the picture of the card in my garden among my Hydrangeas!

Jag använde de nya och helt fantastiskt fina papperna från Beutiful Memories II.

I used the new and amazing papers from Beutiful Memories.

Om man kan vara kär i en blomma så är jag rejält kär i denna mörkrosa Ros!

If you can fall in love with a flower I´m head over heal in love with this dark pink Rose! Wow!

Motivet har jag klippt ut från ett av papperna. Runt alla kanter och på alla blommor har jag använt Stickles Star Dust.

My picture is from the papers.  Around all edges and on all of the flowers I used Stickles Star Dust.
