"Dad & Patti" Layout {May Challenge} by Helen Tilbury

Hi everyone!  HELEN here again with you today, to share my take on the May Mood Board.
Just because it is "Beachy" doesn't mean you have to tackle it that way if you don't have any
beach photos on hand like me!  I had this photo already printed & needing to be scrapped
& I thought it would be perfect for these colours so I was inspired in this way rather :)

I used quite a selection of pretty Inkido papers {see the listing at the bottom
of my post} as well as an array of Inkido flowers too, a lovely grungy stamp,
some leaves & some confetti bling.  All from Inkido!

Inkido papers are perfect for mixed media as they are nice & strong
& perfect for tearing, punching, distressing & inking up!

They also take stenciling with mediums really well.
Here I used hard modeling paste which I then sprinkled with
embossing paste to change the colour to match the board.

My Inkido flowers were brown & cream so I misted up the
cream ones & used chalk ink to add the brown edges.

I always twirl the stems of the mini roses around my awl to add a tendril!

A banner design always adds a vintage look & is easy to cut free-hand.

I hope my project has inspired you to create with Inkido today!
If you are not local to Scandinavia you can buy Inkido products online
at The Flying Unicorn HERE.  They ship all over the world at actual postal costs!!

See you all again in June, with a video tutorial too!!!

'Three', using the new collection.

Hi it's Bente here and I have a new page to share with you.

I used the latest Spring Time paper collection for it!!
The pictures were taken a few years back at the beginning of the school holidays.

I cut a frame from the pink music paper and added it as a border to the pink heart paper. I used the dotty paper from the Beautiful memories collection for a bit of a contrast and added some gesso and even some coloured mist.

I picked different coloured flowers from my stash and used my Big Shot to diecut some mini rosette flowers and a couple of labels that I layered on top of eachother.

I like to let the mist/paint run a bit to add some more interest to my page.
I hope you like what I had to show you today and also that you have been able to get hold of some of the new papers. If you cannot find the different Inkido collections please ask your local
scrapbook store to order them for you :-) as they are really pretty.

Easter Greetings!

Hi Inkidofans!

Today it's my turn to show you my interpretation of aprils moodboard. This month is all about roots and traditions, so I have chosen to do a box and a card to wish someone a Happy Easter.
Easter means a lot to me and my family. Traditions are very important. My mom always sent me a card and lot's of candy. Especially marzipan and chocolate :-D

Our holidays are spent skiing, and we make a fire to prepare food outside before we go home. We really enjoy to spend our days outside! On good friday it's a tradition to cook a steak of lamb to remember Jesus and his sacrifice for all of us. And, of course we paint eggs to decorate branches. It gives me the ultimate Easter feeling ;-)

This is our moodboard for april;

And this is how I solved this task;

I hope you got inspired by this post, and that you join us for this months callenge.

Love from Cathrine

'3 is Definitely Company' using Beautiful Memories collections.

Todays page was created with the two lovely  'Beautiful Memories' collections.
I scrapped a photo of my three darling daughters who of course mean the world to me. It was taken on the day the eldest would leave for a year in the US and we had breakfast in the countryside.

I still love the look of fussy-cut butterflies. Many of the Inkido scrapbookingpapers have patterns that lend themselves well for cutting outdifferent elements.

I used different punches and also paint and mist here. The leaves were really a beige colour but I gave them a lick of acrylic paint to go with my blue green theme.

Anyone say banners,...? Yup, I still love them! :-) For me they will never be out of fashion I think....

That's it for today my friends.
I'm happy you wanted to check out my page and wish you a lovely day!! Lots of hugs!!

Here are the products  I used:
