This is my first day here at the Inkido blog.
I'm so happy for this awesome opportunity! Thank you so much to Papercraft Scandinavia for having me. I will be here with you for a couple of months with the hopes to be able to inspire and spread som joy.
My name is Karin Zander and I live just outside Stockholm in Sweden with my family in a town called Åkersberga. We have two kids. Nova seven years old and Leon six years old.
I have loved crafting in all forms since I was a tiny girl. Then in 2004 I discovered a whole new World. The World of Scrapbooking. And ever since that first visit to a scrapbooking store I'm hooked. When rearranging the placing of bedrooms in our house I gently negotiated a room for Crafts and an home office. Result: 5% office, 95% scraproom! Win - win right? ;)
When creating I follow my heart and mostly the result ends up in layers, lots of flowers, a bit shabby and often romantic. But every now and then I drift of into other categories. Clean and simple, grunge, colorful or after a sketch or challenge. All crafting is fun and I love trying new tecniques and following the road of inspiration where ever it takes me ;)
This month has a gorgeous sketch made by Ullis~Lillblomman. Love all her sketches and this one was fabulous! To join the challenge click here.
And here is the result of my interpretation of the sketch:
I love how the Inkido papers from different Collections still go so well together!
There is so much to be thankful for...
One of those things is defnitely the joy that crafting gives me and so many others around the world.
Hope you all have a great day and I'll see you soon again.
Thanks for having me ♥ Huge hugs from Karin ~ Kajsan
