Utforsker - a Winterish Layout

Hello! It's Yasmin here on the blog today and I have a winterish layout to show you. But it's not really about winter. I got to say I love the versatile papers in the new collection.
We try to get out of the house on christmas eve to do some activites and last christmas we went on a small hike with our boys. My oldest son is an explorer at heart and he loves looking under stones and figureing out how things work. So this layout is about him being an explorer on christmas eve morning.
I'm sooo in love with this background paper from the christmas collection. It gives me chills just looking at it!

I always do a lot of layering on my layouts. A little tip to get layers is to use doublesided paper, which greatly all the Inkido papers are! :) My tip is to curl the paper up, with the wrinckled paper you get a bit of dimention and that makes it easier to create some exciting layers.

I hope everyone has a fantastic night and do a lot of creating!

Favors Inspiration

Hello! I like to share a little inspiration for party favors. I was thinking of favors for girlfriends' afternoon tea party actually :)

Here are the paper bags and tags made using the ever gorgeous Beautiful Memories II collection :

Other than afternoon tea party, this kind of favor is also suitable for hosting any other occasions, from a simple girlfriends' gathering to a sophisticated soiree.  I hope I have inspired you a bit :)  As usual, more close-ups on my blog.

I also like to thank everyone who has submitted their projects for our September challenge. We have another day to go... so you still have time to submit!

Till soon,

.:With the Spirit of Christmas:.

Hi Everyone!
Today I'll show you my first two Chrismascards for 2013.
What a lovely way to start this seasons cardmaking with brand new papers from the new Inkido Christmas line.
I took one of the favorite bits of a paper and framed it before adding the decorations.

The second card is a softer one without any black details.
Every card I make for Christmas is thought out for a special person.
Making them for each and every one at a time makes them all so different and thats probably why I like doing so many of them.
A productive year that means around 50-100 cards leaving my desk right before Christmas Eve.
And yes... I Love Christmas! ;)
All papers and stamps are from Inkido.

Isn't she just to cute? A happy smile, falling snow and just the right amount of Christmas feeling in the picture...

To all of you Happy Wishes for a lovely friday and a great weekend up ahead ♥
Huge hugs!

I love making Christmas Cards!

I love this time of year! The time when you can start creating Christmas cards without people thinking you are crazy! I have the most amazing new papers to play with in my studio! I love the old feeling of the papers and the colors are just perfect. I have two cards to show you today.

On the first card I used a image of two girls. You find them on the Jingle Bells paper.

Look how cute they are!

I made two snowflakes from the same paper.

The next card has only one girl. I also used the text that is next to her on the paper and put it on a tag.

I also made a bow from the cool braided Hampa string. This feels like Christmas to me!

Hugs from Ulrika aka LillBlomman!

For my cards I used following products from Inkido:

Hi! Today we have a new Guest at Inkido, welcome Marivic!

My name is Marivic and I live in Houston, Texas. I am married to a very supportive husband and a mother to 3 children. I have a BSBA and Nursing degree, but now a stay-at-home mother to my 2 small children and 2 German shepherds while running my Etsy shop in between.
I had been a paper crafter since I was a little girl. I’ve always liked pretty papers and stationeries (mostly sanrio). I’ve collected all sorts of magazine pages, tag labels, anything that I can use as collage later on. Scrapbooking started when my oldest son was born almost 21 years ago. It was an off and on hobby for me. I’ve seen how this hobby evolved throughout the years. It has changed so much. There’s always a trend, even in scrapbooking. I manage 2 blogs with 2 separate Design Teams. We host monthly challenge with different themes every month.
Come check it out…
And my personal blog (http://marivicclif.blogspot.com) where I post contests, prizes, and things I create during my free time.
Thank you so much to Inkido for your generosity as our sponsor for our challenge and design team members.

Marivic created for us these two wonderful pages with Inkido products!
Thank you so much!
