'Sweet Summer'

Hi, it's me Bente, back with a page I made for the recent blog hop at PaperHaus Magazine.
It is also an example of what you can make to enter Sabrinas September challenge.
It is to use layers and at least one punch. You'll find the link at the top right hand side of the blog.

I decided to share a couple of pictures, kind of a step-by-step on how I made this lo.

I started out with this pretty but rather beige sheet of paper:

I used some inks and mediums to make a more personalized background for my sweet photos.
I have added text to the photo so you can see what I have used in the different areas.
It may be a little difficult to see the stamped corners as they are very subtle and
stamped with Ranger distress ink.

As I knew the central part of the sheet would be covered up I concentrated my inking, stamping
etc to the sides of my page.

After I was satisfied the background was ok I layed out my photos and design pieces to
see what I liked the most.

I tried a couple of alternatives but this is what I decided to stay with.

Now all that is left is the fun stuff; embellishing!!
And here are a few close ups of my decorations etc.

I hope you like my page and that you will link up to our September challenge!
Hugs!!
