Beaytiful Memories / Nataliya Serova

Hello all, Nataliya is here :)
Today I will show you my book project for our June Challenge.
I thought long and hard how to beat our Mood Board and finally decided to do a project, just by taking a piece of old book :)

I ripped the book, added between pages paper cut, wings of butterflies, flowers and lace.

On the front page I using gesso, sprays, stamping, lace and glitter to create a background. I very love my black StazOn for stamping :)

Then I added decoration: angels, flower and inscription.

I love the Inkido paper for the opportunity to carve out some pictures. And for information strips I often find application. For example here, I took a sheet name as the title.

 Have a old book's day:)

Vologda - it's my town!

Hello all, Nataliya is here :)
When I saw the April challenge, I just could not decide what I will do, because I have two homes - in Russia and Ukraine. But now we are guest in Russia, and I decided to make a page about my hometown - Vologda.

Our town is known for lace, butter and carved palisade. And about the palisade I decided to make a page :) and add some paper "lace" :)

Background I made using stamps, stencils and watercolor.

For volume I used a lot of layers of paper:

Scandinavian inspiration from Natasha

Hello, Natasha is here :)
Today I will show you a card, which I made for our January Challenge - Scandinavian style.

First of all, I learned, what is a Scandinavian style?
Having read a few articles I made the following conclusions:
- clean, natural colors
- simple forms
- minimalistic decor
- bright color accents

These are the traits embodied in my Christmas card:

I like to create multi-layered cards and always use a 3D-tape:

Have a bright day!
